


Mentorship & Capstone Opportunities
WNY Latch Lab is proud to serve as a learning site for students and emerging professionals who are passionate about lactation, maternal health, and community-based care. As Western New York’s first mobile lactation clinic, we offer a unique opportunity to see how nonprofit, equity-focused care can be delivered right in families’ driveways and neighborhoods.
We welcome mentorship, internship, and capstone projects related to:

Lactation support and infant feeding in a mobile clinic setting

Program development and evaluation for nonprofit maternal–child health

Community outreach, partnership building, and health education

Perinatal mental health and screening integration
Who this is for:
Students in nursing, public health, social work, nutrition, midwifery, IBCLC preparation programs, and related fields who need structured hours, a capstone site, or mentorship with an experienced IBCLC.
